Our Mission

The United Cerebral Palsy Foundation – San Diego County is a 501 ( C ) (3) tax-exempt corporation.  The specific purpose of this corporation is to accept, administer, invest and distribute charitable funds on behalf of the Foundation, support the work of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of San Diego County, and to solicit funding for future needs.quote

The Foundation is governed by a Board of business and community professionals to set and achieve the Foundations goals and objectives.

UCP is a legacy agency with United Way and it’s commitment in solving Health and Human Services issues in San Diego County. UCP maintains exceedingly high financial accountability standards as evidenced by its long-standing national accreditation by The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

UCP also supports leadership, accountability and transparency of all nonprofit organizations through the Better Giving initiative of The San Diego Foundation.
